The UK is the first place many students picture when they consider an English course abroad. That is understandable: it is closely associated with the language, has a long educational reputation, and offers an enormous range of schools.

Reputation alone does not settle the decision. It is worth asking whether the price difference buys something your student actually needs, whether the climate suits a long stay, and how much time the visa route requires for your passport and course length.
