Good Hope Studies is one of the longest-established English schools in Cape Town, running a leafy Newlands campus alongside a City Centre campus. Its standard course is 20 lessons per week, and the published price list drops from €330 to €245 per week as the booking gets longer, which is why it suits 3 to 12 month stays. Homestay with breakfast and dinner is offered from about €235 per week. Accreditation by EAQUALS and IALC plus English South Africa membership means the teaching and welfare standards are externally inspected.
